Rubbish Pickup

Richmond Heights contracts with a private waste hauler - Waste Management, Phone: 1-866-797-9018 or the Waste Management website. The scheduled pickup day for the entire City of Richmond Heights is Monday. Please refer to the 2020 Trash Collection Calendar for scheduling delays that occur this year as a result of holidays. 

The pickup fee for rubbish service is the responsibility of the homeowner and is included as a special assessment in the real estate tax. For 2019, the cost for trash removal is $158.02 (for entire year). Waste Management has scheduled delivery of wheeled trash containers to the end of each resident's driveway the week of January 7. Residents should begin using the carts January 14th. Trash containers can be placed on the tree lawn either after dusk the night before your pickup or no later than 7:30 a.m. the morning of, and removed from the tree lawn as soon as possible after rubbish pickup. Waste Management typically picks up rubbish between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  For more information refer to the Waste Management Brochure.

You can purchase an additional wheeled trash container (cart) from Waste Management. Please refer to their "Additional Carts for Richmond Heights Residents" flyer for more information. 

Homeowners associations and apartments are responsible for their own rubbish, snow, leaf and recycling removal for select streets and apartments.
