Part-Time Firefighters:

The Richmond Heights Division of Fire is currently seeking applications for part-time firefighters. All applicants must possess Firefighter II and Paramedic certifications. Interested candidates can pick up an employment application at Richmond Heights City Hall located at 26789 Highland Road during the business hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Certified Building & Electrical Inspector or a Certified Building & Plumbing Inspector:

The city of Richmond Heights is seeking a full time Certified Building & Electrical Inspector or a Certified Building & Plumbing InspectorThe qualified candidate must have at least 5 years of experience performing certified code inspections and are currently holding the required state of Ohio Board of Building Standards certifications as a Building Inspector and Electrical Safety Inspector, or a Building Inspector and Plumbing inspector certifications, issued by the Ohio Board of Building Standards. Interim Certifications will be considered for each of these positions. Part-Time Custodian:

The City of Richmond HTS is looking for an experienced custodial worker to perform routine cleaning tasks in the Police Department and municipal buildings. 28 hours a week.

 Job duties include: Clean, sweep, scrub, vacuum, and shampoo carpets, remove & dispose of waste. Clean kitchens, wash tables, dust/vacuum offices/hallways, dust upstairs and down stair areas, clean bathrooms, disinfect, and deodorize restrooms and replenish supplies. Maintains the Kiwanis Lodge entrance during the winter by removing snow and spreading salt on walkways. Other duties as assigned. 

 Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or GED certification and a minimum of one (1) year of recent experience performing custodial duties; willing to work varied and odd hours as needed. Knowledge of CDC cleaning standards & supplies, and cleaning equipment. Strong customer service skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.Must be able to pass a Criminal History Background Record check and pass a drug screening.
