The following ordinances and resolutions have been passed by the Richmond Heights City Council. Typically legislation will appear here within one month of passage. Passed legislation as well as draft legislation is available at City Clerks office in City Hall. Codified Ordinances are available off-site, these are updated once a year at the beginning of the second quarter.

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF A PUBLIC STREET KNOWN AS "AEC PARKWAY" TO " INTEGRITY PARKWAY". 

RESOLUTION NO. 2-2019, PASSED 1-8-19
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A PASS-THROUGH SALE-PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY LAND REUTILIZATION CORPORATION FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

RESOLUTION NO. 3-2019, PASSED 1-8-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO RENEW ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEIGHTS A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE NORTHEAST OHIO REGIONAL SEWER DISTRICT AND THE CUYAHOGA SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT FOR THE "PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT AND PUBLIC EDUCATION" ("PIPE") PROGRAM.

ORDINANCE NO. 4-2019, PASSED 1-15-19 
AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEIGHTS, STATE OF OHIO, DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2019; TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 143-2018; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. 

RESOLUTION NO. 5-2019, PASSED 1-22-19
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REPLACEMENT OF THE OIL SEAL IN TRUCK FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT BY CERNI INTERNATIONAL NORTH COAST.

RESOLUTION NO. 6-2019, PASSED 1-22-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH MCPHILLIPS PLUMBING, HEATING AND COOLING FOR THE PURCHASE OF A BOILER AND REPLACEMENT OF A MOTOR IN AN AIR HANDLING UNIT FOR THE POLICE STATION.

RESOLUTION NO. 7-2019, PASSED 1-22-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES' RECREATION TRAIL PROGRAM AND COMMITING TO MATCHING FUNDS FOR PARK TRAIL MAINTENANCE AND RESTORATION.

ORDINANCE NO. 8-2019, PASSED 1-22-19 
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 101.99, "GENERAL PENALTY" OF THE AMINISTRATIVE CODE TO INCREASE THE PENALTY PROVIDED THEREIN.

RESOLUTION NO. 9-2019, PASSED 1-22-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW STEEL DUMP BODY FOR A SALT TRUCK IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT FACILITY FROM CERNI INTERNATIONAL NORTH COAST.

ORDINANCE NO. 10-2019, PASSED 1-22-19 
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE CODIFICATION, EDITING AND INCLUSION OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES AS PARTS OF THE VARIOUS COMPONENT CODES OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF RICHMOND HEIGHTS, OHIO, AND APPROVING THE UPDATING OF VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE TRAFFIC AND GENERAL OFFENSES CODES TO COMPLY WITH STATE LAW.

ORDINANCE NO. 11-2019, PASSED 1-22-19 
AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEIGHTS, STATE OF OHIO, DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2019; TO AMEND ORDINANCE NOS. 143-2018 and 4-2019; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

RESOLUTION NO. 12-2019, PASSED 2-12-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH SENIOR TRANSPORTATION CONNECTION TO PROVIDE SENIOR CITIZEN AND DISABLED PERSON TRANSPORTATION IN THE CITY.

RESOLUTION NO. 13-2019, PASSED 2-12-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR  TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH PC ALTERNATIVES, LLC FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE CITY.

RESOLUTION NO. 14-2019, PASSED 2-12-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACTIONS NECESSARY TO ACCEPT NORTHEAST OHIO PUBLIC ENERGY COUNCIL ("NOPEC") 2019 ENERGIZED COMMUNITY GRANT(S) FUNDS.

RESOLUTION NO. 15-2019, PASSED 2-12-19 
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT WITH THE AUDITOR OF THE STATE OF OHIO FOR FINANCIAL STATEMENT AUDITS FOR THE YEAR 2018.

ORDINANCE NO. 16-2019, PASSED 2-12-19 
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A NEW CREDIT/PURCHASING CARD POLICY FOR THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEIGHTS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

RESOLUTION NO. 17-2019, PASSED 2-26-19 
A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING MARCH 8, 2019 AS "POLICE LIEUTENANT ROBERT GLAETTLI DAY" IN THE CITY AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION AND CONGRATULATIONS TO LT. GLAETTLI UPON HIS RETIREMENT.

RESOLUTION NO. 18-2019, PASSED 2-26-19 
A RESOLUTION BESTOWING THE 2018 PUBLIC SAFETY EXCELLENCE AWARD UPON JENNIFER SCHULTZ, ASSISTANT TO THE CHIEF OF POLICE.

RESOLUTION NO. 19-2019, PASSED 2-26-19 
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR OF MARY MEHRING TO THE RECREATION BOARD OF THE CITY.

RESOLUTION NO. 25-2019, PASSED 2-26-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SOFTWARE SOLUTION INCORPORATED TO UPDATE A SOFTWARE DATA BASE AND FOR TRAINING.

RESOLUTION NO. 26-2019, PASSED 2-26-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FROM THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEIGHTS FOR A PROJECT TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE STATE OF OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES FOR ITS NATUREWORKS GRANT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019.

RESOLUTION NO. 27-2019, PASSED 2-26-19 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF EQUIPMENT THAT IS UNNEEDED, OBSOLETE AND UNFIT FOR CITY PURPOSES.

RESOLUTION NO. 28-2019, PASSED 2-26-19 
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND HEIGHTS IN 2019 TO SELL BY INTERNET AUCTION PERSONAL PROPERTY, INCLUDING MOTOR VEHICLES AND OTHER PROPERTY REFERENCED IN REVISED CODE §721.15 WHICH ARE NO LONGER NEEDED FOR PUBLIC USE, OR ARE OBSOLETE OR UNFIT FOR THE USE FOR WHICH THEY WERE ACQUIRED; AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SPECIFIC PERSONAL PROPERTY BY INTERNET AUCTION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

RESOLUTION NO. 31-2019, PASSED 3-12-19
