Basketball
December 2025 through March 2026
Grades 1-6 | $50
This league introduces young players to the fundamentals of basketball through fun practices, skill-building drills, and friendly, team-based games. Designed for all experience levels, participants learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in a supportive and active environment. Season games begin January 17, 2026. Season ends March 14, 2026.
Richmond Rooks: Chess Club
January through March
Ages 5-17 | $50
Our Youth Chess Class introduces young players to the exciting world of chess while building critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills. Designed for beginners and improving players, this program uses fun, interactive lessons to teach the fundamentals of the game, all taught by Nationally Ranked Chess Expert Damon Rucker. These creative classes introduce kids to a variety of art materials and techniques, encouraging imagination, self-expression, and hands-on exploration. Participants will experiment with paint, collage, drawing, and more in a fun, supportive environment. This program is in collaboration with the Richmond Heights Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library.

This energetic dance program introduces teens to essential techniques, choreography, and performance skills while encouraging creativity, confidence, and fitness. Designed for all experience levels, the class blends fun movement exercises with age-appropriate routines in a supportive, upbeat environment where dancers can learn, express themselves, and connect with peers.

This fun, hands-on class teaches young chefs basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, and simple recipes they can make at home. Recipes aimed at helping kids build confidence and creativity in the kitchen, while teaching healthy nutritional habits. Cultivate alluring stories with this prompt-based class. Sessions designed to find writing styles and push your creativity through fun guided writing exercises. This class inspires young writers to explore their imagination and develop storytelling skills. Participants will create original stories, practice writing techniques, and build confidence in expressing their ideas. This program is in collaboration with the Richmond Heights Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library.
